If folks are looking for WMS in Xpublish, @mpiannucci has created a [plugin](https://github.com/asascience-open/xpublish-wms) that will give you WMS routes without creating your own router.

With the new [plugin system](https://xpublish.readthedocs.io/en/latest/plugins.html), this should now be possible without changes to Xpublish itself. It would involve writing a [app router plugin](https://xpublish.readthedocs.io/en/latest/plugins.html#app-router-plugins) to serve datatrees under a new path....

Thanks @xaviernogueira , yes this and a few other issues can be closed by pointing to specific plugins now.
