Huge lag on huge scripts

Hello! I am facing several issues with this plugin. I have a script with rather many colors spread out over 25 000 lines, and while scrolling/editing the script, i face huge delays and lags. Also, the highlighted area with color does not update, until 3-5 seconds after i made a change, etc. the first image shows before i pressed enter once.

Have you tried pigments instead of atom-color-highlight? Actually pigments is the successor of atom-color-highlight and also a complete rewrite in order to solve these performances issues. Scrolling performances and highlights update especially have been greatly improved.
