I believe I have fixed this issue if you want to test out the current beta release on the Play store

It is available in the Google Play store beta channel, you can sign up through the app or at https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.tasks
I can create a build of the non-googleplay version and put it up on Google Drive. You would have to uninstall the F-Droid version before installing though

Thanks for the report! Can you tell me what version of the app you are using, and what service you are synchronizing with, if any?
Unfortunately I am not able to reproduce this issue. If someone could repro it in a screen recording and send it to [email protected] I might pick up more clues

Can you see if you still experience this on 13.9.6?
Is this happening with only snoozed tasks or any task?
