@xxpol are you still having trouble with this? You should just need to click on 'Tasks settings > Add account > Google Tasks', select your account, and accept the oauth...

What kind of phone do you have? If an app is killed or background restricted then the widget becomes unresponsive. Can you check out dontkillmyapp.com and see if the instructions...
