I got it to work by changing the file location output from /tmp/mpd.fifo to just localhost:5555 in my mopidy config file as per the [arch wiki](https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/ncmpcpp)

has any one come up with an alternative solution? perhaps using applescript?

Having the same issue but across my entire database. Is this issue specific to your ‘all pages’?
