Element doesn't have a button to delete them yet. https://github.com/vector-im/element-web/issues/13221 is the relevant issue. Right now the only way to remove them is by manually editing your account data. 1....

Hmm can you try a different browser? Just installed it on a fresh install of macOS and it worked fine.
