In light of commit 7458ec089086e7d222480421fa4cb1e573b0916f, the solution proposed in #2820 doesn't work when zooming the pages.

Hmm, then `hint` doesn't seem very good at expressing that it's the parent of `visual-mode`, the link hints and `element-frame`. Perhaps `element`?

I don't follow. You mentioned that `visual-mode` should be part of `hint-mode`, and I agree! But `visual-mode` isn't centered on links.

It seems I misread your previous message. Perhaps "link" was extra there?
