Font not containing alternates? Or am I just stupid?

Using the variable font, I wanted to see if the alternates were there in the Character map but they just don't seem to exist. At all.

It's annoying this isn't a feature in Eole, yet vanilla Foobar2000 is fine.     ALL of this is tagged with the semicolon as a separator.
