Cannot find git directory when using git worktrees

When I create a worktree with `git worktree add worktrees/tmp branch-name` I will get ``` > Task :generateGitProperties FAILED /absolute/path/to/project/worktrees/tmp/.git/config: Not a directory ``` when trying to build
