I second this. Specifically, the underlying issue is with autocorrect (the word gets underlined for autocorrect, but autocorrect cannot be dismissed) I'm using the Android AOSP Keyboard, if that matters.
Assume I were to enter "The quick brown fox" If I typo "fox" as "foz", autocorrect fixes it. But it doesn't dismiss "autocorrect selection" and the word "fox" remains underlined,...
