Aaaand I found the solution myself. The captcha.html has to be inside /data/crowdsec/ or subfolders, otherwise chaos will ensue. Not sure why.

That was fast. Thanks. I moved it over to /usr/share/tessdata, same. Manual works (docker exec -it 7a45c9990406 tesseract /data/Briefpapier.png output -l deu) But it doesnt show up in the GUI...

Ok, so the answer is: I had tessdata set to the wrong folder inside the container. It has to be in /usr/share/tessdata *inside* the container, which I didn't get into...
