I'm trying to think about it, but I can't imagine anything *not* working. Everything *is* utf-8 decoded by default. All of my tests on French, Italian, Spanish concluded the same....

I think it can be done, but requires quite a bit of effort. I might look into that later, but seems slightly unnecessary overkill at the moment.
