@shinji-s which "many distros" are you talking about? It's not enabled in any of the OSs I'm using, which include Funtoo, Archlinux, Ubuntu and FreeBSD.

I just double-checked my (only) Ubuntu box, which is at 16.04.4, and it does not contain udisks. It feels like it just gets pulled in as a dependency for many...
