Trying to sync from macos rsync to server with openrsync, but delete in combination with exclude arg not working

If I try and use the command as follows it doesn't work. Syntax error apparently. `rsync -av --rsync-path=openrsync --delete --exclude "test.txt" tmp openbsd.server:tmp/` building file list ... done openrsync: syntax...
