Well finally got it built myself and doing a zip add to the docker build instead of it downloading. So I assume the /nightly will still check and update automaticly.
The same issue in 1.16.5 might be an API change in Paper saying that timing is enabled.

This is just a guess but I believe that the 3D engine for the WebGL is using floating-point so as we go further out the precision worsens. So my opinion...
Just wanted to show that it still has a similar issue with 1.4.2 at extreme distance. It no longer keeping the blocks uniform.

For what it's worth, you can run multiple instances of compactor to increase the speed of compression by manually selecting folders to compress.
