Yea a feature where you can trigger UI change without triggering selection would be great to have. That would fix some of the issues related to fragment backstack and deeplinking.

Same exact problem and not a single clue what to look for.

I have the same problem. It only appears when using `notifyItemRemoved(i)` method in my recycler adapter. This glitch happends only on the item that is "holding" sticky header.
