That's a great idea. Let me know if I need to adjust anything else for this..
Have you found a solution in the meantime? I'm not sure what you mean with being off by 0.6 all the time...
I don't know anything about your printer. But what @AJolly has written seems plausible :+1: You need a z-enstop pin for the nozzle and the magnetic switch probe (not used...
@D3ltorohd you need to set a position_endstop value in your stepper_z section :+1:
Have you solved your problem in the meantime? Unfortunately, I have no experience with leadscrews. But, a negative switch offset is not a problem at first. what counts is the...
Yes, you need to call the correct macro name that you are using. Is this already solved?
This should not be caused by any update. But, it's hard to say. May be you have plastic left on the nozzle or your switch is somehow damaged?
Strange, I've had the same problem the last few times. But for me it was the very first time. It has nothing to do with the update. I had blamed...
OK, the result is still consistent for me. There were really only a few exceptions. If you have constantly changing values, then there is something mechanically wrong with your printer....
These values look pretty good. Now tune your switch_offset to barely touch the bed with the nozzle (the real z=0 position and no paper or something). Then test it again....
