My iGPU should be disabled, so I don't think it's doing anything with it.

Some additional info that maybe should've been in the main post. It doesn't make the computer inoperable if you have multiple monitors it simply freezes the image on the monitor...

Can confirm that my Intel GPU is disabled in bios.

Tried this briefly with NVIDIA 560.35.03. Firefox would frequently crash with: "MozCrashReason":"Error flushing display: Broken pipe" Other things seemed to work fine though. Using Pop!_os 22.04 with popdev:master branch.

I'm using a desktop, with my intel integrated gpu disabled in BIOS. I couldn't really see any frame rate oddities with or without v-sync.

Appears so. Can confirm that I'm on egl-wayland 1.1.16 I could send the firefox crash log if you think it could help.

I've tested Terraria with the native SDL wayland driver and the same instability is present there, renaming to account for this.

Since Smithay/smithay#1501 this is fixed for me.
