You probably know this, but on v10 the alpha does not work. The button does not appear in the control sidebar, and the hotkey also doesn't bring out the controls....

Can confirm this, it seems to order by date (of compendium appearing in world or being assigned to the folder). That's the case both for D&D 5E and Pathfinder 2E.
