please try to avoid whitespace-only changes in the same commit as content changes.
note: some developers talked shortly about this at rc3 online conference in the context of #363 (kitspace is also used there).

CamelCase is somehow old style right? snake_case is better readable? In Python, there is PEP8 as a style guide, not sure about what's most popular for C.
