Are you talking about the `nvidia_drm.modeset` parameter ? In that case the return of `sudo cat /sys/module/nvidia_drm/parameters/modeset` is `Y`. I assume it is flagged.

How do you force close the Steam client ? Either exiting steam or killing process doesn't seems to solve the issue on my side :/
