This is indeed a very needed and useful feature, because otherwise we loose all of Typora's markdown power when writing HTML tags, specially in collapsible texts, which are so common....

I've seen some other issues (#898 and #606) where @dhaavi says there's support for wildcards. So, is this issue sorted already, or are those other issues talking about another type...

This is indeed so useful, probably the best plugin on Obsidian for people that deal with math. It's so complete. It should definitely have more downloads. Let's spread the word!
