Oh, forgot to mention that. I'm using the AIR client and playing on the OG hotel. I've Java 8, as required. 
Well I downloaded G-Earth from the release page (1.4.1) and I have the x86_64 architecture (ig ?) 
So I tried the 32bit version, doesn't work either. I also checked my ports, habbo is using the 30000 one so yeah, everything's normal.
Will try once I have access to that computer again.
