Crouton chroots won't install after new ChromeOS 111 update

Im new to this kind of stuff and every time I try to install Ubuntu it says "sed: can't read common/cras_messages.h: No such file or directory Failed to complete chroot setup. Unmounting /mnt/stateful_partition/crouton/chroots"

so i am on the stable channel and it still doesnt work
