Happened again, possibly related to a shutdown due to battery loss, immediately preceding that. Reinstalling kdocker seems to also solve the issue.

The cause seems to indeed be a shutdown due to battery loss (was reproduced twice this way).

The quick command to release the grip of kdocker from any still running "hidden" apps and reinstall it with minimal bothersome-ness, in case anyone else runs into this: `killall kdocker...
