Yeah. For me that kind of setup is working fairly well.
Does the bridge support the `/names` command? I noticed that while names are shown when joining a channel names didn't work.
I tested circe, from basic observations it works good so far.
Should it work if you count 2 ppl chats as conversations?
From a quick lock they look do each other similar but not all the same features. E.g. `frames-only-mode-kill-frame-when-buffer-killed-buffer-list` or `frames-only-mode-configuration-variables`. To add workaround for modes to behave correctly with pop-frames.

Have you tried the no-littering package? It does something very similar.
