Automatic variable "Return Value" missing in VSCode Debugger Variables -> Locals

The same here. Even if you name the return value, i.e. procedure GetValue()returnValue: Text begin retrnValue := 'Any Value'; end; You can't see the returnValue value. Nor in the debugger...
