[Idea] Remove the Explore/shorts, Home, Subscriptions tabs/feeds and video recommendations (optional toggle)
Description I never use the Explore tab, and I believe very few people use it at all. I think it's a useless, annoying tab. Could you devs consider giving the option to remove it please?

This is the last feature im looking for. After this, YouTube Vanced is basically the best app that exists on my phone for me.
Please implement this devs, there's a toggle to disable the create button, what's there is there's one more for the explore tab 🥺

Well, I really hope that you will implement it! Exactly the ability to HIDE ANY BUTTONS at the bottom. I personally need to hide all sections except the Library. Also it would be great if you make it possible to hide ALL RECOMMENDATIONS under a video. It would be ideal to add the ability to hide "Video recommendations under a video", "Home", "Explore", "Subscription" in the settings section where it is possible to hide the "Cast button". OT: so far, due to the distraction of unnecessary recommendations and sections I had to switch to the browser where I blocked everything unnecessary through the extension. Therefore I really look forward to new updates! Thank you very much for your work!
Well, now that shorts have taken its place I think removing shorts is better and that way we can choose to have either explore/shorts/both/none
I'm fine with the Explore button but I don't really like that they changed it to shorts it will be good if there was a toggle to change it back to explore on mobile devices.
I think it will be correct to rename this Issue to "Remove the Explore/shorts, Home, Subscriptions tabs and video recommendations (optional toggle)" because many Issues were closed as duplicates but they suggested to delete other tabs and recommendations. Perhaps this will also prevent new duplicates from appearing.
I also look forward to this update. I love to customise the buttons on the app. Give toggle option for each of them.

Please remove the "Explore" tab!
It's extremely annoying, obvious at this point it favors crappy "trending" videos (and their terrible channels), and people who bought out spots on said list (extremely low view counts).
Also it has unfunny big media corps (usually those awful "late night talk show host" videos or music videos are always on there).
The only thing relevant thing I saw on that tab (just looking through it out of curiosity) was The Olympics, nothing else. I don't even watch The Olympics either but that was the only thing actually relevant.
I don't watch Minecraft videos either (which seem to take up a ton of the space, nor those clickbaity crap channels).
I never use it and it's just an eyesore. I'd rather just have the Home, Subscriptions and Library tabs. Just please, remove it. Thank you.
I would take one step further and provide the ability to have an empty feed/homepage, to provide minimum distraction and maximum productivity. There are some chrome extensions that do similar things for yt and social, this would be a great thing to have on the app too.

@Harmonie666 hopefully soon... Im tired of these popups that keep telling me to watch shorts and the stupid shorts tab at the bottom. Useless garbage that should be removed.
@natewu I'm afraid the devs have abandoned all Vanced apps. We barely get three updates per year. Last major release for Vanced and YTM Vanced was how many months ago...?

I am locking this issue to avoid useless/unnecessary comments. Any similar issues or anything will be closed right away!! Please avoid begging developers for such a feature. Developers have personal lives as well and they only work in their free time whenever they get.
