The version in the README was supposed to be 1173 and is fixed now. I've seen this issue reported a few times in the #support channel in our Discord but...
This issue is caused by specifying the TCP lobby server IP:port in your game launch options instead of the HTTP discovery server. Read the install directions more carefully next time.
Haven't looked into it much yet but I'm assuming this is caused by the lack of a _NOT packet. Will hopefully get to this one soon.
