Ok, it's quick when I remove the MSI authentication part from the code..

The module tries to log with MSI even if the user set client_id and secret (for service principal based auth). Would it not be better to skip the MSI auth...

It seems that the module try in any case to log with MSI. If you look [at this part of the code](https://github.com/Azure/azure_preview_modules/blob/master/library/azure_rm_keyvaultsecret.py#L178), there is no condition to skip this part.

I can see you've let the default format. Following the [doc ](http://www.django-rest-framework.org/api-guide/fields/#datefield) the default format is 'iso-8601' (eg '2013-01-29').

BTW, python 3.7 is also installed on my workstation. ``` python python3 python3.8 python3-pasteurize python-argcomplete-tcsh python3.7 python3.8-config python3-pbr python3.7m python3-config python3-unit2 python3.7m-config python3-futurize python-argcomplete-check-easy-install-script ```

Seems that it has been fixed in the last 20.12.15 version. Would it be possible to push this version on Pypi?
