In the phone book, the avatars are multicolored. it interferes with concentration and is very distracting. please make it possible to choose only one color for the contact's avatar. 
AOSP Contacts app has a menu in the drawer named "My info". Everything you enter there is stored in system contacts storage, but it's entirely invisible to Simple Contacts.

The standard android database is queried by so many different apps that your contacts list is hardly secure. It would be nice if simple contacts had its own separate encrypted...

I am using several accounts which provide the ability to save contacts (google, samsung, [nine](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ninefolders.hd3)/active sync). They are all named by my primary email address and I cannot control/change this....
Please add some emoji's for contact images. Like Male, Female, Doctor, Car, Ambulance etc See this screenshot.   
If phone numbers are saved with GSM code set in front, they will not be displayed in Simple Contacts Pro. Another Contacts Apps shows all Phone numbers… even with GSM...
It would be useful if Simple-Contacts could accept vCards via sharing, it currently does not show up in the list of destinations when I want to share a vCard.
