IIRC that had some really silly reasons related to haxelib, because haxelib couldn't depend on a haxelib, so these functions stayed in Haxe std.
I actually thought we moved these to haxelib already, but maybe I'm wrong... anyway, a pull request that cleans this up (and doesn't break haxelib) would be appreciated!
What's the state here? Is there anything we could help you with from the Dox side of things?
Let's make a Haxelib release alongside Haxe 3.3.0-rc1 which would be on 2016-04-03.

It seems to run at normal speed for nme. NME 3.5.6 installed within about 20 seconds.
I agree, the latest command should always trump previous ones.
Do we really want this in hscript? String interpolation is an order of magnitude more complex than everything else, especially when it starts being nested. We haven't even solved that...
Or you fork the graph if you detect this and then figure out which releases belong to which branch.
This seems somewhat confusing and I wonder if this is mostly about the actual messages. While it's true that a git version might already be installed, it's not clear if...
