I am trying this right now and the problem is, that the original text is still showing. Also the text can't have an extra "selected" color because the icon keeps...

I think its not done with a simple width-unset. The sidebar will be quite big on larger displays.

I have the same problem. The light-level idea sounds good. Or give them a larger cooldown for reproduction and slime balls. Would it maybe be possible with a villager type...
