The extension broke in VS2015 during one of VS updates. It must have been some ninja change that they didn't tell you about. :P

The primary cause is 4k textures from kitbash. We could be using 1k textures instead, which will help the performance as well.
We could also solve with a feature from Atom renderer to dynamically change the texture quality, such as configuring various mipmaps, etc.

We can convert this task into updating readme file for o3de-multiplayersample stating that downloading zip is not a supported option with git LFS content. It is advised to git clone...
That component isn't doing anything special, though.
