Coming back to say that this issue was solved for me by using the [canary build](https://github.com/itchio/itch/tree/v26.1.2-canary) downloaded from the AUR on vanilla arch.

This happened for me as well until I turned off window background transparency. Setting it to be completely opaque removes this rendering issue.
