Ads no longer muted

Recent install, Ubuntu 16.04, latest version of Spotify. This issue was also present when I was running Ubuntu 14.

Runs in background even after closing

If i alt+f4 the app, the wrapper still runs in the background and only stops when i kill the task. Any clue about how to fix this?

Similar to https://github.com/serialoverflow/blockify/issues/125. I think it's just the last second of the ad that doesn't get muted properly.
