Should use this file on Windows: "BaseX103\\basex\\bin\\basex.bat" The only issue is that if the path contains any white space it fails, and it's impossible to escape whites spaces with backslash.

Oh I didn't know that @kyaso but it seems this option is enabled by default. So maybe I'm experiencing a bug here. I will do further examinations and report back....
