I think there should be a straightforward way to link the chrome extension with the app via an RPC Secret. At least a get started prompt will release some burden...

I think attaching a fileWatcher to the partially downloaded files will do the trick.

@amilajack, Electron released [v28](https://github.com/electron/electron/releases/tag/v28.0.0) which now supports ESM. Any plans on making this boilerplate ESM compatible?

@codebytere It works on v23.2.4 and v22.3.6 but it breaks on v24.1.2 Can it be a problem related to my system?

Seems like this bug is fixed in v25.1.1 Not sure about other versions.
