Integrations

Open pritaunk opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

Long shot.. but useful for orgs that have salesforce integrated with multiple external systems, having some visibility on whether or not any metadata is being used in any of the integrations. This is I think one of the biggest concerns teams have when wanting to work towards removing technical debt is they don't know how it's going to impact integrations with external systems.

So what type of metadata are you thinking of?

  • External datasources at /lightning/setup/ExternalDataSource/home ?
  • External objects at /lightning/setup/ExternalObjects/home ?
  • External services at /lightning/setup/ExternalServices/home ?
  • Platform Events at /lightning/setup/EventObjects/home ?
  • Outbound Messages at /lightning/setup/WorkflowOmStatus/home ?
  • Certificates that will expire soon at /lightning/setup/CertificatesAndKeysManagement/home ?
  • other???

  • API calls being made?

What about Connected Apps? To identify connected apps not used in a long time + any new connections made recently that one might be aware of?
