Click to call not working

We are using Enhanced Lightning Grid successfully for more than a year. Our grid has two Phone columns, which show the call icon correctly and in the past they worked correctly too.

During March 2021 they stopped working though we changed nothing in the ELG configuration. You can still see the green phone icon next to the phone number, but clicking does not initiate the phone call as before.

@PavelKrusina since this package hasn't been changed recently - it is unlikely that this is the culprit. Can you share the payload of the button that you have?
