The merge_map_data function is not yet correctly implemented

When I was trying to merge two maps with interactive slam, I found that the merge_map_data function is not yet correctly implemented. So I was wondering is there any update of its implementation? Would you mind update the code for that missing part? @koide3 @OpenHero @Cheng-Hsiung @sonphambk @Tacha-S @AchmadFathoni

Sorry, this package is no longer maintained. But I have a good news that the new package GLIM now supports multi session merging https://x.com/k_koide3/status/1890396393946173780. Please try it! https://github.com/koide3/glim
