The main reason we're having problems in the first place is Gradle seems to break depending on it's version & the current version of java. I'm honestly just considering dropping...
I agree, we've already had 2 people have problems setting up the project. I'll have to look into how the game handles openjdk.
What error messages are you getting? The folder you import is the ```OpenCiv``` folder. Don't import the sub-folders.
Current bugs that would be fixed: * Traders go to captured cities * City states don't defend against players
