Having the same problem. Turns out it's the **Bitwarden** Chrome extension. If I disable it and reload, the error no longer happens. MacOS Chrome 97.

It doesn't happen all the time. If I change it to 1080p60 then it saves it fine. But sometimes it randomly resets back to 480p. I'm certainly not setting it...
