Same. ptvsd version 4.3.2, IDA (64-bit) 7.6. Attaching to the IDA process hangs for about 10 seconds, and then produces the same message box from the screenshot above.
I wound up using [IDACode](https://github.com/ioncodes/idacode) through VSCode. It took me a few hours to get it working. After enabling logging, I found an issue with the code, which I solved...
