Segmentation of the point cloud

Is there a way for me to get a mat file or in any format the segmentation of the point cloud. Here we have segmentation of the 2d image but I am looking for segmentation of the object in 3d point cloud. Indeed I have the object pose so I can get it using some crude nearest neighbour based things but I am looking for some better options.
