well..."competing" with tensorflow is probably not the issue - maybe you want to use the api within a plugin? ...hmm.so far, i thought, tensorflow is a python thing but it...
> We could look into FFT functions to do the same thing did you actually look into my OnsetDetector class (in rosic/analysis)? it actually does just that. i'm looking for...
yes, i think, before looking into totally different approaches, it is worthwhile to investigate why the OnsetDetector didn't work on your material. maybe it really just needs a little tweaking...
i think, the idea of looking for magnitude increases from one frame to the next in any bin...and somehow aggregating that over all bins is a very straightforward and meaningful...
it has to clip or saturate *somewhere* in the signal path to avoid exploding when using feedback above the self-oscillation limit. i was experimenting with different places and different saturation...
i also preferred clipping over saturation here because it's cheap and has a linear range (this is supposed to be a plain-vanilla filter)
hmm...the decay shape looks rather non-exponentialish and the basic decay-shape of the resonators is exponential. however, i have extended my model a bit - previously, it was a difference of...
here's a very pronounced two-stage decay (this will also become useful in shaping transients): ...and i can also have two of the four resonators have a frequency deviation from...
i actually tend to use this idiom: `for(size_t i = 0; i < v.size(); i++)` how many of these warnings do you get and where? because i get none of...
actually, i did a clean rebuild. do you really get them with toolchain or in another project? and/or maybe you are using VS 2017 (while i still use 2015) and...
