I'm using the flatpak now so not seeing the issue. I'll leave it to others (@Weuxel ?) to comment, if not the issue can probably be closed.

Giving this a bump, I feel (as @beningodfrey4 said) that this really would make calibre-web a more fully rounded reader option.

I have the same issue, using latest firefox via flatpak.
