Just wondering, how did you add the vacuum to the Tuya app? If there's a way to do that (and then use the Tuya developer portal to control the device...

Feel free to improve and/or fork it. Unfortunately I don't have the time to work on this further but glad to hear the community is still getting some use out...

+1 for this - I'm seeing confusing exceptions when the upstream provider returns a generic error response (Nginx's bad gateway error page for example) so I would recommend merging this...

I just got 2 of these devices and same problem. I suspect they indeed changed the firmware or something. I will look into it in the next couple of weeks...

Just FYI, I managed to get these to work with the https://github.com/custom-components/ble_monitor custom component and the https://pvvx.github.io/ATC_MiThermometer/TelinkMiFlasher.html custom firmware - after flashing make sure to set advertisement type to "Mi".

Can we reopen this? It's also relevant for me - currently inlined the change into my client's codebase but would be nice to have this upstreamed so we can remove...
