Thanks for the great extension :). Would it be possible to have the background not moving while switching workspaces?

Thanks a lot! I'm digging in and trying to talk with people at gnome about it. I found this merge implementing the background move when switching because I was wondering it could be isolated in an extension. I don't know if it helps :).

In any case, thanks a lot, vertical movement with the background is much less jarring already than horizontal :)
