this looks solved in the mamba 1.5.5. version, maybe also earlier. Can't reproduce in my local docker miniforge3 container.

@Preetam-Das26 please show a `mamba list ` output. I got a windows 11 system for tests, but on a fresh mss installation I can't reproduce.

Have seen this on a guests computer now too. I think it has something to do with the configuration of the entire windows system.

I removed labels and milestones so that we can keep it open. The solution for a setup where that happens is: - start the miniforge prompt (from the start menu)...

with pixi we currently can't use menuinst. The issue can't happen since v10.

I'm looking on the test with pytest-reverse and do prepare a conda-forge package of that too

There are some more to do, please leave this issue open.
